The eighth annual Arkansas Folk Festival on April 15-18, 1971 at Mountain View, Stone County, Arkansas, featured many talented musicians, including Almeda Riddle, a singer of ballads which date back to Elizabethan times in England, who became nationally known for her knowledge of these ballads.
